Dragon Tree Bonsai Nursery - Introduction to Bonsai- 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
Beginning in January, for those who would like to learn the art of bonsai and start in the right direction. Plant groups to be covered are: junipers, deciduous, tropical and flowering trees. One tree from each group will be covered in detail in each of four classes. You will learn how to take care of your tree properly (horticultural requirements) so you can enjoy it for many years. Each will be a fully involved, hands-on workshop class and you will have a styled tree-in-training to take home.
Cost is $25.00 per class (includes pot and plant each month). Student is responsible for potting soil, wire, tools, etc.
