On Nov. 11, 2005, the Bonsai Society of Brevard had the grand opening of its permanent bonsai display at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. The club negotiated with the zoo management for the permanent loan of prime space within the zoo.

On Nov. 10 -11, 2007, the Bonsai Society of Brevard and the Brevard Zoo hosted a Bonsai Weekend. Here are a few pictures of the event.
